Interesting. I think it is great that you are expanding your Horizons (pun intended). IMO nothing but good things can happen when you expose yourself to diversity.

Interesting point you bring up about Nintendo being the social gaming platform. I, for the most part, find that to be true. Whereas XB and PS have been focusing on online social gaming (with the exception of a few games), it seems Nintendo is the brand that always keeps couch co-op in mind. Halo 5 losing splitscreen was of no consequence to me but I imagine a few people were sad that they could not play couch co-op like they had in previous iterations. Neither system has really had a racing game or fighting game that shines on game night as much as Nintendo has. Of all the games I have on PS4, Rocket League is the only one with splitscreen. I have enjoyed playing online with friends in Destiny/Rocket League/TLOU R etc, but I don't think couch co-op will ever be replaced. This is the one glaring fault with owning a Sony or Microsoft console IMO, with the exception of a select few games. They just never seem to be executed as well or catch on as much. (minecraft maybe?)
*Other uses for my PS4 include Spotify and Netflix. Great single player but game night pretty much will always be on the Game Cube in the living room*

I'm glad you can have the best of both worlds. PS4 has always been the home of narrative IMHO so you made the right choice there (examples include Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, The Last of Us, Uncharted etc; narrative is the PS strong suit). Nintendo will always be the home of face-to-face social gaming.

Then again maybe I agree with you so much because I've always been PS+Nintendo. Need any game recommendations, or games to look out for?
