What is your favourite and most hated Mario Kart item?

The Blue Shell normally doesn't do anything to help the player it's normally given to (8th-12th place), and only damages the top player, helping 2nd and 3rd place more than it helps the player actually receiving the item. Not to mention how much it sucks being hit by a Blue Shell. Dammit.

 

Not really true, in 64 and every game outside of wii, double dash and I think ds the blue shell would hit anyone in the centre of the road in its path, I unfortunately tend to drive in the centre.
