Honestly I feel a bit frustrated about this theme going about Nintendo going third party. People don't make constantly topics about "What if Sony/MS whent third party" so I don't see why would you focus so much on Nintendo. yes, they have poor sales this generation, so ? Xbox was almost never profitable and Microsoft hinted various times that they might eventually exit the home console market since they own Windows while Sony due to their other divisions have lots of financial problems...
