That week, that specific week you're talking about is when Sony sells best while nintendo consoles start dropping at that week. This isn't Wii U doing "Bad" Ps4 holding "great", its typical out of holidays Japan with the nintendo products starting to drop faster than the sony products, or do you not realize that sony traditionally does better Q1? Wii U is holding well for Wii U and if 2015 wasn't a 53 week year for MC it would be above 2015 and 2014(?) (I need confirmation on that one but it would be close to it) Wii U craters much faster than this the only year it did not was 2013 so this is actually a good hold for Wii U. Now I'm gone because I already know someone is going to quote me and start this big argument thing with me and I'm not in the mood to deal with that.

 

Oh so you said what you wanted to say and at the end you are saying you are not in the mood to continue this? If you weren't in the mood to contiue this then you wouldn't even start writing so cut the act and face the consequences of what you wrote.

What you are saying has nothing to do with the fact that Q1 generally favors Sony. Since we are talking about PS4 and WiiU, then even Q2 favors Sony becuse WiiU sold fewer units in Q2 thatn PS4 despite the last good month. 

But this isn't our subject here despite you wanting to throw the ball off the court (quarter numbers). It's about trying to downplay the week numbers of PS4. I noticed that some people in here are putting the PS4 in the same bag as WiiU despite the systems having a 10k-15k difference every week. I don't know the exact reason you are doing that but it's wrong. PS4 is in an other league overall and WiiU can't compete despite the attractive software that is the exact reason i said ''WiiU is falling like a rock/rain despite all these games''. 

You can't say that PS4 is having the same drop as WiiU when there is a 10k difference combined with the software library (and price) of each system which at this point WiiU is superior in everything. People are trying to put PS4 in the same fate as WiiU saying thing like ''consoles sell terribly in Japan look at WiiU and PS4''. This is not true. Only WiiU is doing bad in Japan. PS4 is selling a good amount of units for what it is every weak. A 35k yen system with it's best selling titles being multiplatform games (DQH, MGSV and BO3) and the only exclusives titles are Bloodborne and Type-0 HD. And despite all the gloom and doom it passed PS3 in the same time frame and has a better future lineup compared to PS3 (Kingdom Hearts 3, Dragon Quest XI, FFVIIR are games PS3 never got). I can't help but think if WiiU was in PS4's position it would be treated like the ''messiah of consoles in Japan''.

Are you serious? Please tell me you're not serious. I don't downplay PS4, I only talked about Wii U for the most part because that's all I care about. So no I don't care enough about the Ps4 to downplay. Now I can go on and point out why the Ps4 is sellign so much better than Wii U right now but everyone knows that it got a price drop recently among other things so there is no point in that.

Now for the second highlight I'm going to go out and say what I said during to onekartvita. The Launches aligned numbers for the 1st year on the market show that Wii U was above Ps4. This was when Wii U cratered sold as low as 2k per week yet somehow PS4 which had a better launch week fell behind even after the amount of deals and bundles it had. The year advantage of games the Wii U had didn't even matter because almost every week games hit the Ps4, yes most are multiplat but you can't ignore the fact that every game whether multiplat or not will push some units. Every small bump adds up and with every bump ps3 owners move over to PS4, which is why we now see the PS4 leading in software between it and the Ps3 now. I don't know about you but I know in the video game industry Quantity of games decides it.

On to the third highlight

You added in for what it is, You said ps4 is selling good for what it is. Do you know what I see? The Wii U selling good for what it is. The Wii U has sold terribly year and year again yet this year its Q1 is looking better than both 2014 and 2015. If MC didn't have the 53 weeks it would be above both which is inpressive for the console. After its first holiday wore off the Wii U never recovered, however for it to be doing somewhat comparable numbers heck even better than those 2 years proves the Wii U is selling good for what it is. My perception of what the PS4 is currently doing is good as well, but it should be. It recently got a price cut so if it fell down to Wii U numbers that would be terrible. From what I can see you use that word "downplay" on Wii U to make the PS4 look better when all the reasons for why both are doing as they are is obvious.

 

Last highlight: Um no. lol no. I'm not sure if you realize it but even if Wii U does great numbers it always is hit with the hate. So messiah lol no. However, I do see people on this site who do that for Ps4 so.... yea.

Oh and one last thing. The reason people will continue to put Ps4 and Wii U in the same bracket.... is because they are. They are home consoles which is considered a dead market in Japan by many. Just because its selling better now doesn't mean its doing amazing. Yes it passed the Ps3, but do I even need to point out that the Ps3 had an absolutely terrible start followed by an amazing recovery? I don't think the Ps4 will remain ahead for long without some serious serious serious deals and bundles and great games. Also please don't act high and mighty "face the consequence of your post". I say what I say and I leave because I've been in enoguh arguments on this site to know that even if you say all the facts, give evidence and blast away anything the other guy says they will disregard it and continue arguing. One of those guy even came to my wall to try to start something so yes, I usually just say my piece and leave.

I really don't have anhything more to say. If i had to say something it would be the same as my last post more or less. I guess we agree that we disagree.

One thing tho that it's not a matter or opinion but a matter of fact. PS4 and WiiU are not in the same backet no matter how much you want to think like that. The reasons are many and it's crystal clear why. I could write them all but i don't think it would matter. One console is leading the console industy worldwide and literally saving it in Japan and the other console is...... well, i think most people can put the right word or the phrase themselves. But hey, if you still think PS4 and WiiU are in the same backet, no objections. Whetever makes anyone happy in the end is all that matters.
