Compared to last gen, probably, but I think sales are more in line with what they had been in generations prior to the seventh. In all likelihood the ps4 and xb1 aren't going to be the slow burners with late peaks as we saw with the ps3 and 360 since there is no wii equivalent throwing off the balance. This year or maybe the next will probably be the peak years and we'll see sales start to taper from there on out.
