@CGW Just trying to get into better shape. I heard cycling is good for combatting heart diseases. Plus I felt really good in terms of energy the next day.

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with increasing your metabolism, but I heard that's supposed to be a good thing.

Also, slightly off topic question. I'm trying to incorporate more fruit into my diet as they are great to take for lunch, but I don't always have access to fresh fruit, so I bought these fruit cups. http://www.amazon.com/Dole-Fruit-Bowls-Diced-Peaches/dp/B000OV4FY2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1452921011&sr=8-2&keywords=fruit+cups
Are these any good in terms of health?
Is the sugar in that in ANY way added sugar? I want to eat more fruits, but I don't have the money, or commitment to buying fresh fruit all the time.

Thanks for the help guys!

Can't believe I missed this! Yep cycling is a good form of exercise.

As for the diced peaches, I always considered those to be a little more sugary than fruit, but here in Canada the peaches are in syrup a lot of the time. If it rests in peach juice it may be a little healthier but..........

Nothing in a package or container will replace fresh fruit. If you want the best possible diet, what I always try to do is stick to the outside edges of the grocery store - for that is where all of the fruits/veggies/meat/dairy/bakery stuff is. In the middle aisles is all of the processed foods which aren't really that good for you, but ok in moderation.

Sounds like your diet is like mine! I try to have fruit everyday; either an apples, bananas, or oranges. Now that the CAD is so low the price of produce is going to go through the roof again
