All Splatoon content has finally released! Was it not a good idea to release it this way instead of delaying it?

I agree that it improved the legs, but there were people coplaining for the lack of content before the launch of the game, what I'm trying to say is that if they released the game with 2/3 more maps and 10 or so more weapons without affecting the regularity of the updates (so resulting with more maps/weapons as of now) they would have sold EVEN BETTER
