| Darashiva said: I have to admit I don't get the logic behind this. In order to show Nintendo that you want a true Metroid game, you won't buy a Metroid game. How exactly will that make it more likely to get a new Metroid game? I understand people who were disappointed by this game as it doesn't feature Samus, but not buying it will not send the message you want to send. Especially if the game turns out to be good. If a good Metroid game won't sell, then what are the chances of Nintendo to keep making more of them? |
This is the cycle. Fans hate game. Fans don't buy game. Company deems failure. Series goes away for a bit. Company remembers their line up. Makes new game on what works. We win. It just take a decade. I'd rather the series be not be made for 5-10 years. Than buy into what I don't want. I deal with this, with comics, all the time. I'll stop buying what becomes crap. Eventually, everything will go back to what people want.
