Since Nintendo is the last of the three current generation consoles company to introducing downloadable games via Wiiware I had some serious thoughts that I would like to share: 1. I would like to see separate charts for each of the downloadable stores. That means one for Xbox Live, one for Playstation Network (i think it is called that way) and one for Wiiware. 2. Going further, I would also like to see a chart that would combine all the 3 above-mentioned console downloadable games. 3. But then, I am thinking that this may not be right. Maybe the charts that exist should include the downloadable games by default. Why should they be separated anymore? But on the other hand, how can someone track the downloadable games since you cannot gather information from retailers or shipments but only to what the manufacturers will announce? It seems even more complicated. 4. I would go even further to see the charts with the games on a physical medium of Ps3, Xbox360, Wii and the handhelds to include the pc games, the downloads of the console games and the downloads of Pc games. → Is this one chart for (completely) all, impossible to be made? → Wouldn't this give a better understanding of how the downloadable games grow gradually in the universal market? → Wouldn't be a nice way to see which of the 3 different console offers (xbl, psn, wiiware) has better growth and accomplishments in terms of quality, quantity, indie recognition and so on? Or is it all too early? Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts (excuse my English) :)
