Like most recent 3DS games it runs very badly on the OG 3DS and okay-ish/well on the New 3DS. I know the New 3DS is more powerful and this is expected, but I can't manage to play 20fps games on 2016, so I'm just waiting for their next hardware. Hmm interesting - never had any FPS issues with any of the games I got for my 3DS. Might it be because I have the XL version (though that really shouldnt matter).

 

What games did you have issues with specifically o.o?

 

I had problems with Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4, for example. And it's not just with me, I've seen technical comparisons of these (and other - including FFExplorers) games running on both 3DS versions and the old one really suffered a lot.
