very good chance for two reasons:

the game was extremely highly review AND its a card to pull in more adult leaning gamers

you don't abandon one of the best reviewed franchises on your latest system just because the sales were not stellar. the PR and good word of mouth from a game like this is worth a lot more than than the game's funding cost them

and one of the few weaknesses Nintendo has is pulling in more mature gamers. I think if they are given the option they will definitely try and get Bayonetta 3 as an exclusive and fund it again

the real question is will Platinum want to do that or will they want to see if they  can break out with big success on multiplats. I think a lot of it depends on what sort of financial situation Platinum is in. If they're capable of creating the game on their and (potentially) getting great sales on other platforms then I'm not sure they'll want to essentially give the IP to Nintendo again

Platinum has been creating some pretty good stuff over the last few years though and has been heavily involved with Nintendo. I know they're working on Scalebound for Xbox-One but I think Nintendo would be wise to consider acquiring Platinum
