All new tech will be expensive, it's been like that forever. VCR players, TVs, radios, cars, look at anything and it was expensive at one point. It's actually a testament to Sony if they can get this thing out under $500.

Cos imo unless Sonys target  is 1mil units, it will be a flop if thats all it sells after 1 year imo. 3rd party devs dont like low selling hardware. Kinect sold millions yet truth how many games use it??.

You could be right but we don't really know Sony's expectations until we know the price. If it's $500+ then Sony know it's not going to sell 1M. $300 then they are aiming for 1M+.

And it's not kinetic, kinetic was a fad that didn't live up to its expectations. Vr is something bigger that's why numerous companies are investing in it.

Plus we probably won't see many high budget 3rd party for vr but we will see many games that support vr. Also if the 3rd parties do make a dedicated vr game, they have more than one platform to release it on.
