SS only took 5 years because motion + was added late  and they had to remake a lot of stuff. it would have taken three years instead. Zelda U is the biggest Zelda ever and also first HD one. Seems like a no brainer that the next one won't take as long, since nintendo isn't a newcomer to HD development anymore.



 

True, but the thing is... Zelda is one of the most ambitious franchises out there, so there'll always be a "motion control", or a "massive" thing, if you get what I mean. I think they'll always try to innovate and bring new mechanics to the table with Zelda.
