Unfortunately it's unlikely that would happen. X is a game that's beautifully optimised for the system it's on. There are very, very few games on PC that are well-optimised, and it would be optimistic to think that Nintendo would lead in that field. Not to mention with the specific case of X the Gamepad features would actually be missed! Be careful what you wish for, or you might just get it.
Anyway, on the question in the topic, I couldn't vote on the poll because the answer is "all of the above". If Nintendo were to go third party they surely wouldn't limit themselves to one particular market. I think their focus would be getting a foothold in the console market though.
