I don't see why they haven't already struck a deal to release a legacy collection on steam, like the first Super Mario Bros through Mario Sunshine.Do the same with every series and go all the way up to the Gamecube (excluding Wii games for several reasons, but control scheme obviously is the biggest hurdle).
These are games people are downloading for emulators anyways, may as well collect on people who prefer not to break the law, or enjoy not having to worry about downloading virus' and working with bios, ect on emulators.
