If Nintendo were to stop making hardware I'd very much prefer them to go PC exclusive. Then I would have all Nintendo games in one place instead of having them split between PlayStation and Xbox (because let's face it, both Sony and MS would moneyhat the crap out of Nintendo, and Nintendo would accept the bribes). Even without hardware of their own I'm pretty sure they'd keep investing into the upcoming Nintendo account service and PC would be the superior place for building that platform.
