your edit: yes, we are discussing the logical conclusion of what i was trying to accomplish. ive understood that. as for your point: ah, but this is where the beauty of it being nintendo comes in. yes, you want a quick turnover of used products because it drops in value very fast. i know that you know this isnt the case for nintendo. mario party 8, for example, still sells for 40 dollars used. call of duty, on the other hand, does not. and again, i have to mention that i was very motivated to quickly get rid of used games for the other systems, so i was helping GS, i mean, thats all there is to it. to be clear, they werent always trading in games when this was happening, im just saying that it isnt uncommon. |
Odd, MP8 here costs around 10€ and just because some Nintendo first party games do hold their value pretty well, that isn't true of the majority of their games, things like Rhythm paradise Wii here dropped from being a €40 game to being about €2-4 not more than a month or two after launch. so the exceptions like Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros are just that. Not to mention 3rd party games on the Wii they dropped like rocks in value too after the systems initial boom on launch ended.
