Of course people did not buy NSMBU. If they did, Wii U sales would be on a whole different level. Nintendo THOUGHT it would sell because the DS one sold, Wii one sold and the 3DS sales hadn't yet picked up to judge the NSMB2 performance. You know, COD is a series where you sit all alone with a controller in front of your PC or console playing online with random idiots. Do the newer COD games even support 2 players simultanous online play on a single console? Multiplayer is something you do not sit alone with your device. Technically online multiplayer is multiplayer too, because there are multiple people playing simultanously (however, you can play play hotseated, so simultanous isn't requirement for MP). Haha, I think your issue with MKW is that others are better than you are. SE was actually very entertaining. If you mean it didn't kick ass like Turtles 2 or Turtles 3 on NES, then you maybe right, but it was certainly one of best beat'em ups made in the 2000's. It was SINGLE PLAYER that took a hit with the bad online, not multiplayer. Red Steel 2 was so fucked up it's unbelievable. If it had Chackie Chan, the content had made some sense, but without... I was personally a little hyped when RS2 was announced with Motion Plus support, but then they fucked it up. Remember the horrible NMH knockoff trailer? I don't think there were that many Zumba games, they didn't bother me the least and did not buy any, but some of my friends did, so it was good to have some. They both flopped for being the same. Both had the focus on single player and immersion, and relied heavily on being better. New experiences were made possible because of the added horsepower. When Wii was released, it already was far less powerful than 360 that had a year headstart. PS3 was released a couple of days before the Wii and look how much more powerful it was. When Wii U was out, it was the most powerful console, just like Gamecube was on it's release. The controller was made to be a better controller, than what there was on the market. Well I don't know anyone with PS3 that didn't have Singstar, so I'd guess it's still relevant. But if you're right, I'd say PS4 won't have legs. Singstar changed quite a lot when you could just download the songs online. There's just no need for a disc anymore. Another big party game is FIFA. This is something I'd even call ultra-casual. People don't seem to play it unless there's someone coming over, and even then the atmosphere is more important. The music band games GH/Rockband is another example. Considering how high prices the used Wii's had, the price itself isn't an issue, it's just that Wii U's library isn't giving you much bang for your buck. |
5 million plus is no one? thats almost half the install base for the entire system. Hardly no one. Its the best of the four so its kind of a shame.
You speak of things you dont even know about? yes the new CODs has all those options they never stopped unlike some other series (looking at you Halo). Its a heavily multiplayer game, whether its online or not is not relevant. You didnt really address these MP only games that have been coming either.
My issue with MKWii is that its too hectic, which i have explained, if you think thats for the best. thats fine. Personally i LOVE the direction the last two games went in, less hectic more about actual driving.
No it wasnt, I found it very boring, boring enemies, boring platforming (yes there was platforming) boring cutscenes (im going to sleep just thinking about it) it being the best of beat em ups mean nothing. I would rather play Warriors again, now thats a beat em up. How did single player take a hit if you loved SE? Yes multiplayer did take a hit, if your online sucks then that takes away a point from MP. And the MP was unbalanced anyway. I love the new Smash cause they got rid of all that SP crap (its a fighting game for God's sake) and focus on the fighting, not its balanced and the online actual works.
I was being faciatious, when i say Zumba i just mean we had WAY too many fitness, party, Bacheoler, SpongeBob, fake WiiSPorts games and not nearly enough actual attempts like RS2, that game actual was one of the few motion heavy games that actual worked. Where were those? Zumba didnt bother me what did bother me is that no one (including Nintendo) really tried.
If selling 80mil plus WW is flopping then by that logic every Ninty console but Wii is a flop. The WIi u was the most powerful console for a YEAR and it wasnt powerful enough to really make a difference, was there a game at launch that wouldnt have been possible on PS360 in terms of being able to run? Nope. Were there PS4 and Xone games at launch that probably wouldnt run on Wii U? yup and that was just a year later. Wii U needed to be WAY more powerful than it was, it needed to be on par with at least xone.
I dont know anyone with PS3 who has Singstar. According to this site the best selling one on PS3 sold 1.13 million out of an ownership of 80mil plus. so to say that Singstar pushed sales for any of Sony systems (the best PS2 one didnt even past 2mil and there are no SIngstars for PS4 and its still stomping everyone) is factual wrong and further more i dont believe you know anyone who has Singstar the odds would be crazy. And no the DL is nonsense as well because ther was no DL for PS2 ones. Ill give you FIFA they love that especially in Europe. GH...nope hasnt been relevant for years and it aint relevant now. PS4 wont have legs? LOL ok. i gotta know what alternate world you live in, im looking for new vacation spots.
Yeah...yeah i can agree on that. It really seems like if you dont care for Ninty games at all you arent buying the system. I'm still holding out for a price drop myself and i just got the PS4 like 3 months ago.
