Alright, I'll change the game. I'd rather gift my daughter Hotel Dusk or Another Code than New Style Boutique 2 or Nintendogs. ;)

It all depends on what the girl likes and her age. If she likes puzzles and mystery, Hotel Dusk or Another Code would do the trick (Another Code would be better if she's younger though...). But if she likes fashion and dresses I don't see the problem in gift her New Style Boutique 2. Its a great game on its territory, as good as Hotel Dusk (it pains me to say it, but Another Code is not at their level...)
