A billion dollar profit seem like a lot compared to the last few years but that is roughly what they were making from 1990-2005 so it's not that crazy.

Heck yeah Nintendo was making that kind of money back then. My concern is how they're going to do it again and what it truly means for Nintendo fans.

-dedicated hardware/software

-Amiibo figurines/cards

-mobile games/apps

-theme park attractions

-films/series/anime

-health/education products

-increased merchandising

It's not really that hard to imagine them returning to those level of profits going forward.
