A classic for anyone of any age. Intuitive for any newcomer, yet potentially tough enough for all the serious players. Splatoon is far more revolutionary game than Mario Maker, Mario Maker is just 2D Mario game where you can play levels you created or someone else, it's nothing revolutionary we already saw that in other games, for instance Little Big Planet.
Not to mention that is completely new, fresh and great idea in TPS online field, you dont have nothing similar like Splatoon. Splatoon has come out of nowhere and surprised us all and become a massive hit, its also completely new IP with own characters and world that become very popular with toys, music, mangas...we already had all that for Mario.
