I think that you're basically nick picking this. I've seen some people not care about something and don't want others to discuss it around them but I never seen anything like "Stop caring about that thing! I know for a fact it's not worth caring about because I don't personally care it!" but that's more or less someone assuming that everyone else thinks like them or should.
