even if ps3 was to sell 100,000 units more per week from next week and we take the gap as 5mil that is been really optimistic on ps3 side, it will be may 09 before it catches up with 360. i think ps3 is in trouble because by that time you will probably be looking at the new next gen console. taking a more realistic figure of 50,000 ms just have to sit on there backsides and keep plodding along while developing there next console. either way it looks to me like sony have lost this one big time. they are the ones with most to lose there last console was king while xbox was the poor cousin. this time they are in distant third with time running out. the sales have not taking off as they hoped and i really think the wii is hurting them more. come next gen people will be looking at their options and if a new x box was bc how many ps3 owners would buy it. i think quite a few because so far it has been all spin and little substance with the ps3. everything is in the future untapped potential, home, games running late whereas the 360 does what it says on the tin. the problem for sony is the future is now the present and still too little delivered. there is a saying in the entertainment business you are only as good as your last gig. i think this could well apply to the ps3.
