If they can sell 30-40 million home consoles in the NX generation that will be a godd result for them and a sustainable player base, especially for sales of Nintendo games. There's nothing dominant about that, but with Wii U staring down the barrel of <20 million in sales then a home console version of NX hitting 30 million would be rightly called success. A portable edition of NX would probably be fine in the 30-50 million range too. If hardware is sold at a profit, or even small loss, from the outset then I imagine Nintendo will be profitable for several years. |
Then, selling 30-40M it's a comeback after the disastrous 15M of the Wii U.
