I mean if you go from playing something like Guitar Hero 3 where you unlock extra songs by spending money ... but it's actual in game money that you earn from playing Songs to Fifa where these packs has a $ figure on them.... but it's not in game dollars it has now become actual dollars then yeah of course kids are going to get caught out. The newer forza and Gran Turismo push it fairly heavily as well, buying cars with in game currency or car tokens bought with real money. |
Someone will have to correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure that the game actually transfers you to the MS storefront everytime you go to make a purchase that is going to use real money. I have serious doubts the kid wasn't aware he was using money.
