Sonic the Hedgehog from the megadrive, at a point before when Dr. Ivo Kintobor and the Brown Sonic are just in the lab to see what their world was like and who were the heroes/villains of Mobius which had Kintobor risk his life/sanity and animal friends to try experiments to try to fight.
The main reason I'd love this series to go for a prequel tho... no matter how shit it turns out, it is still going to be better than the rubbish they're doing with the franchise right now.
