It was... I personally like Rune Factory more, but Harvest Moon was the game that got me into this genre and I still like playing Harvest Moon :D
Not sure if the newest game is any good though, as I have yet to play it, but each Harvest Moon game (by Marvelous of course) is pretty solid and decent, though I would not buy at full price :/
