It actually shows sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, it's still a very new feature on the site so it'll get working better later, give it some time.

It does.

Though what I noticed is sometimes when you multi quote - it merges posts from two or more people so it may seem like one person said something that another person said.

I think it's because you can only quote one person at a time or rather, only one person can be notified per post. I don't think BraLoD has been notified.
