wii u failed in 2012 because it was just as strong as ps3/xbox360 which much bigger installed hardware bases.

If Wii U would be as strong as the ps4 in 2012 and x86 based (easy third party support), im sure it wouldnt fail.

It doesn't matter what hardware Wii U had as long as the games were just as bad as they were/are. I don't think this is a matter of 3rd party games, as Wii U did have somewhat moderate 3rd party support right out of the gate, but it dried out because that's what nobody was buying. Multiplatform games hadn't come earlier in any case as they did for the PS4/X1 anyway.

wii u had crap third party support with third party game didnt even looked better as ps3/xbox360 versions = no reason to get wii u.

If ps4 would have same graphics as ps3 it would fail too.

Ps4 btw even had a crappier exclusive lineup as wii u, but still its selling like hotcakes. Because games like Fifa, COD, GTA, Fallout, Witcher, Metal Gear Solid, Batman, Assassins Creed and much, much more are available on ps4 and they all look way better as on ps3.
