I don't think they need to dominate to do extremely well. I'd be very happy with Nintendo selling 35 million consoles and 50 million handhelds. They could be very profitable with this type of sales and likely get more 3rd party ports. They aren't going to come out with a PS4/Xbone competitor and dominate this gen. But they could come out with one and start chipping away at this market and set themselves up to be a geniune player versus PS5 and Xnext.
