I think the point he was making is that it's hard to feel sorry for someone who intentionally puts herself in that situation. 

So if you were wasted at a party (which probably happened at some point in your life), it would be okay for me to slide my hands down your pants?

Never been wasted at a party because no good decisions come from combining large numbers of mixed company and alcohol. My heavy drinking was exclusively with a select few friends and brothers/cousins.

 

So to answer your question, no it wouldn't. Thus my desire to not lose the ability to save our comprehend "No" around other people who have lost that same ability.
