I don't know what definition of the word feminist you have but pretty much every person who participated in the fight for women's rights fits the definition of the term which is "the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men." |
Except definitions change over time, and Feminist now is more commonly associated with whiny girls that do nothing but whine and take jabs at men all day long. Feminists more often fight for elevated women's rights rather than equal rights, and that's what most people view them as nowadays. The definition just has yet to be officially changed.
And again, I don't ever remember reading anything about successful or logical feminist movements, only women's rights movements. The difference is one group wants equality, and the other wants to demonize.
