The real power is divided among few people to begin with; those who have money. There are countless lobbyists who influence the politicians in charge, but since there are so many lobbyists for so many different fields, the entire thing cannot go too far in any direction.

 

That depends a lot on where you live. I guess I'm just lucky to live in Norway.
