I prefer to play on the original hardware whenever possible. Emulators just produce way too many bugs. It's often small things which most people don'T care about, but I find it quite annoying. For example the boxes when emulating PS2. I can't even really describe it, but when you look closely at an emulated PS2 games, the screens seems like it's made of many little boxes. Even on the PS4 that is the case! And that's just one example of how games in an emulator are different. I just want to be as close to the original as possible.
I do play with emulators though. Mostly when it's the best option available, like on my PSP Go. It's just great to carry around the whole library of NES, SNES, Game Boy and GBA in such a small device and play whatever you want whenever you want wherever you want. I also bought San Andreas for PS4. I missed that game back in the day and just thought it would be the perfect opportunity to play that little gem finally. And yeah, they got me with trophies. I can't deny it, I'm a little trophy whore. Please don't hurt me. =P
