I'm happy we'll be seeing a Watch Dogs 2 in the future.

As for AC - I dont mind the annual releases but also dont mind if there's a delay of one year.

I'm playing catch up with the series.

So far I finished AC1, AC2, AC Brotherhood and AC Revelations.

Once I finish DmC Devil May Cry and Tomb Raider Reboot - I'm planning to play AC3 and AC Liberation will follow after that.

Planning to buy AC4 Black Flag Gold Edition whenever it goes on sale again in the summer.

What do you think of the AC games?

Personally, I enjoyed all of them all from the first one (despite its flaws) to Revelations. And then came AC 3... and that's where my interest with the series died.

The AC series is in my top 5 favorite western franchises list.

Ironically its the only Ubisoft series I've ever played (never played Rayman or anything else from Ubisoft)

I first got into the series by playing AC1 when I got it on Steam - and this was before I upgraded my GFX card so I had to play it in low settings back then.

I played its sequel a few months after I upgraded my gfx card and on the 1 year anniversary of beating the first game ;p

I played AC Brotherhood a year after that and Revelations just a few months ago (which was also a year after that).

In terms of what I scored them....

Assassin's Creed Director's Cut (PC): 84
Assassin's Creed II Deluxe Edition (PC): 90
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Deluxe Edition (PC): 92
Assassin's Creed Revelations Gold Edition (PC): 85

I plan to play AC3 soon as I said before and judge the game myself ;p

I remember watching the trailers and getting hyped.

I bought AC3 and Liberation last year's summer sale which is a trend since I've been buying one or two AC games every summer ever since I got into PC gaming back in 2012.

Edit: And yes I always buy the complete edition or the closest to it even if it only has MP stuff only.

AC 1 = Summer 2012
AC 2 = Summer 2013
AC Brotherhood and AC Revelations = Summer 2014
AC3 and AC Liberation = Summer 2015

Gonna be getting ACIV Black Flag Gold Edition which comes with Freedom Cry this year.

I like Assassin's Creed a lot, but the big problem is that they're so casual. It's a scandal that there aren't different difficulty levels!

I would rate them:

Assassin's Creed Director's Cut: 80 (the most challenging of them all and felt dark, I loved it)
Assassin's Creed II : 85 (the atmosphere was simply fantastic)
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: 70 (too many meaningless features and unnecessary things, unengaging story)
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag: 85 (Revival of the series. Probably the best AC since AC2)

I haven't played Revelations yet, and not AC3, nor the next gen ones.

It would be fun to know which team did which game and see if there's a correlation to quality.

The next Assassin's Creed game I will probably play is Assassin's Creed Rogue. I think it sounds very exciting to play a character on the Templar side!
