Ohh so that's why Destiny on the X360 and PS3, a combined hardware total of 160 million dramatically outsold their next generation counterparts which only have an install base of around 55 million.

Let's look at those numbers!

X360/PS3 combined sales: 3.5 million
X1/PS4 sales: 8.5 million

How did that happen!?!?! The X360/PS3 should have outsold the PS4 and X1 "with ease", right?

It's almost as if there are other factors involved in a game's sales other than install base!

Oh sorry! Cross gen game that runs better on current generation systems...
