It's November 21st 2016. The NX is out and more powerful than the PS4. Are 3rd parties on board?

Why do people think the next platform is going to get more support than either of those platforms?

 

Sorta but the same goes for PS/XB. Those consoles in the west are primarily bought for online shooters, open world action, sports/racing sims, fighting games which leads to the vast majority of retail releases coming from those genres.

On the other hand, genres like platformers, party/local multiplayer, puzzle, life simulators, turn-based RPGs are more fitted for the Nintendo audience so it makes more sense to release games in these genres on such devices if u want a game to succeed.

It all comes down to demographics and genres that fit in with the userbase, if u want a game to be successful on a platform than release a game that appeals to the primary audience of said platform.

if that were the case how come we arent seeing Persona 5, Nier, ni no kuni, FF15, KH3, etc appear on Ninty consoles. turn based RPGS have been killing on PS platforms since Sony first came in. as for the other genres they see a lot of sucess on PS/xbox, at least on the online stores. To be fair its not like we even see alot of platformers not made by Nintendo on Ninty systems, why is that?
