I disagree with that. They may not become system sellers, but there's a big difference between a moderate success and a flop. Most of the WiiU launch games flopped, and if instead of that they choose some that became small or moderate profitable, we might have seen a more stable support.

He's right though the userbase or any other for the matter will simply not buy games that are clearly handled like they're giving scraps to a dog, non of those games you mentioned would have faired better when the are newer games coming out and anyone who was interested in them would have already bought them on PS3, PC and 360 for cheaper. ZombiU the most obscure title at launch was the best selling third party launch title and is at 950k, more then the other third party launch games combined, why because even with some of its flaws it was a new title with a genuine effort and the fans recognized that straight away.

If you want to appeal to the userbase you have to go as all in as you do with the other userbases other don't be surprised if you don't get the intended results, third parties themselves have to treat the userbase the same way they would others otherwise no amount of help from Nintendo will change anything.

Since you mentioned zombi U, it's a great example for the opposite. I'm sure it bombed as a late release with less content, no marketing and digital only on ps4 and x1.
