I know, but imagine that if instead of those titles (Batman AC, Deus Ex, ME3, AC3...) 3rd parties bring games as old as those, but more in tune with the Nintendo audience: Sonic Generations, Ni No Kuni (did it have an exclusivity deal? Wasn't it going to be on the DS too?), an old Tales of title... and if you want western games, why not Minecraft, Dragon Age, even a port of Skyrim/Fallout from the 360 could have faired well enough. Those titles are as old as the ones that came out for the U, and they probably would have had a better reception. Nintendo just came out of the Move&Touch generation, they had enough money to incentivize some of those titles, but they didn't. And yes, 3rd parties should have brought their titles with the same content and quality as the other devices, otherwise complaining that the worst version of the game sold the worst is unfair. |
There's no "more in tune with the nintendo audience". There aren't major preference differences, nintendo gamers (like all others) simply won't buy late games sent to die.
