Your right. Famitsu doing it all wrong, there week 53 this year will include days of mostly 2017 lol.

for Famitsu, this year will have again just 52 weeks, and will end the 25th of December 2016.

Year 2017 will have 53 weeks, because it will start from 26th of December 2016. The typical Week 52 will be Week 1 for Famitsu in 2017, and the New Year's Sales and boost will be in Week 2 2017. 

They're doing completely wrong.
