3rd parties need to pay attention to what games actually sell on Nintendo systems. The 3rd party launch titles for the WiiU were all focused on being M rated, instead of focusing on what the audience interested on the WiiU actually wanted. I bet that, if instead of all of those 3rd parties, the WiiU just got Minecraft as a 3rd party launch game, they system would have faired better the first year.

Tbh those launch titles were ports of older games, Mass Effect Trilogy was out at a cheaper price when the 3rd game hit Wii U, Arkham and Deus Ex were out for over a year and anyone interested in any or all of these games would have already bought them long ago, some of the other games like Injustice never got DLCs of other versions despite being more expensive or Sniper (or what ever it's called) missing half the modes. Minecraft would have helped much better yes but Minecraft is its own subculture it's in the same boat as franchises like Pokemon, 3rd parties don't just need to pay attention to the type of games selling on the platform they need to manage them better and treat the userbase better then what they currently do otherwise just don't bother bringing the game over as the's no point testing the waters with half assed attempts.

If you're only giving late ports, delaying a said version of a game in favour of other versions, missing DLC and modes that other versions have but still charging full price etc... don't be surprised if the userbase never takes a shine to your games.
