I got an easy answer for that one. It won't have hype cause first of all, its very unlikely that Nintendo will make such a system in that time frame. And it's also unlikely anyone will make a huge investment on it. They will port some old stuff and test the waters. We all know how well that works on Nintendo systems. Tbh, Nintendo should stick to portables, if their plan to suceed is anywhere near this knee jerk reaction fans wish for in the internet. The home console NX, to happen under these conditions would likely be as sucessful as the Wii U. To win back market share Nintendo has to plan it in a much better way and has to launch at the same time as its competitors. Mid generation systems never work. Only hope is to get a gimmick that appeals to the casuals like the Wii. At least Nintendo themselves make rivers of money with it. |
