Not happening. It will indeed get announced this year's E3. That is completely plausible.
Unless the hardware releases with no games at all. The console needs to wait until 2017.
The developers need more time to get familiarized with the system. Specially if Nintendo decides not to go with the same architecture as the XB1 and PS4.
Nintendo will jeopardize the entire gen if they decide to push third parties away once again.
