Good for Nintendo, because 3DS had huge stock, as of September 30th I deduced from sales/shipments comparison, that it had 240k stock, which is stagnant since people are focusing to the new models, which is the same with New 3ds and New 3ds xl stock combined! Both old 3ds and 3ds xl have been discontinued, the first since the beginning of 2014 and the second since the end of 2014... So, since October till the last week of 2015, 3ds sold 90k, ergo the stock have fallen to 150k, 3ds had big jump in December which was surprising (I was expecting that old 3ds stock clearance would take a lot of time, given its sales trend but December came and made me reconsider, it will take less time than I thought), but I guess stores in Japan discounted it to get rid of that dead stock.... As for 3ds xl, it sold 30k, consequently stock have fallen to 50k.... It should deplete for sure in 2016... Lastly, old 3ds and old 3ds xl, are destined to reach new milestones, 10m and 7m respectively! |
There where several Pokémon-themed 2DS on Amazon last week. Maybe it's them, but I wonder since I expected them to be preorders. On the other Hand, It might just be that the N3DS was sold out in several stores, so they bought the next best thing.
#FE doing much worse than Amazon numbers suggested. Also, high disparity between the two trackers for that game
And it looks like the Super Mario Maker bundle is sold out (has been for a week now), leaving just the basic white 32GB Version until the Pokkén Tournament Bundle comes or SMM Version getting restocked
