Horizon Zero Dawn: Guerrila Games on why no multiplayer in the game

I'm fine with the game being SP only but I really hope the sequel (assuming there will be one) will have some sort of MP, even if it's just being able to join a friend's SP game to beat up robotic dinosaurs together.
