Aonuma's main focus is still on Zelda Wii U. Triforce Heroes is a spin-off, the series isn't going down to shame due to a spin-off. If Mario can make a variety of spin-offs (Mario's Missing, Mario Paint, Tennis, Golf, Party, Luigi's Mansion, Olympic Games, Kart, Smash, etc.) while still have some of the greatest games of all-time being released, I personally don't think Zelda will suffer if it had a spin-off like Triforce Heroes. Nintendo wants Zelda Wii U to meet all of our expectations, as per Reggie from the November Direct, so I'm sure Aonuma is doing everything he can to get this game done and up to the expectations of the company and the fans.

Of course, there has been a lot of remakes this generation. I think it is because of the new technology, 3D and HD. Nintendo wanted to show how a handheld with 3D and an HD Nintendo home console game could work. Thus, Zelda was the one to lead by example, with remakes of old 3D Zelda games that many might not have played before or were hoping for an enhanced version of those old games.

I know that Zelda HD is his main focus, but that doesn't mean he has to not invest time in the other ones. He invested time in every one of the Zelda releated games this gen, in some cases a little, but still have to be there.

My main fear is that all of these projects it's what the reason for the delay as the team behind Zelda HD was not doing good with the progress. This is the same thing that happened in 2004-2005 with TP and Minish Cap.
