However, if they make a console that's as powerful as the PS4 or more powerful, with a handheld that matches it (since rumours say it's a hybrid device), then Nintendo can very easily partner up with one of the VR brands. In fact Nintendo might then be the only developer with a handheld console that can do VR.

WTF am I even reading...

You know how often people that play games risk missing their bus or train stop? putting on a VR helmet inside a bus/train is just asking for problems.

Also whos going to want to carry around a helmet for gameing on the go? yeah.... thats a big no no.

VR + handheld doesnt work, its a use at home sort of deal only.

Also I really doubt theres any handheld powerfull enough (now or in near future) to run real VR with a helmet.

Yeah, I don't mean playing at bus stops or whilst driving to work. You also forget that many mobile phones are designed to work with VR and there are already apps and games out there. It may not be the best VR but it still is a form of experiencing VR. Nintendo can do the same.

I can imagine a Mario Maker that you can take with you by syncing your save onto a handheld and then going to your friends house where you can all plug in and work on it together.

Yes, I know they could do it online to, but I imagine Ninty will want to encourage friends and family physically getting together playing party games etc.
