Holy poo, I thought it may have done 1.6billion on first release and the rest on second release. Didn't realise it made 2.8billion almost on its first run. 

 

2nd release only made about $35m so yeah.. That first run was insane. Titanic on the other hand - did a bit better on re-release, as at least 10% of its US run was from that re-release.

I am curious to see when they do a TFA re-release.. I could see a Director's Cut getting the movie over the $1b domestic mark.
