I agree with this as well. I found myself rooting for Finn pretty early on, and grew bored of Rey. I'm hoping he gets more focus in the next few movies, or Rey gets fleshed out a little more. And if she is Luke's daughter...I really hope they don't pretend like no one saw it coming, since it seems like the most obvious 'twist' they can use.

I never watched Legend of Korra, but I can see what you mean with your second to last point. I'm all for more female characters...I just wish this one was more interesting. Giving her everything in the beginning really keeps me from forming a connection with the character. Sure she was cool to watch...but I suppose I need more than that to really care about a character.
