I am not insulting Sony or Microsoft I respect them all. The 3DS might be no where near the PS4 or XBOX One in power and graphic capability, but it still is powerful enough to play Wii games with the new version. It doesn't need the power of the VITA for example as it has 3D, which is why it is so amazing. It's 3D capabilities make it so marketable. It has done so well that it doesn't need to be replaced for years to come. The DS line was around for at least 6 years right? So expect the 3DS to stay at least 2-3 more years. |
The issue is that 3DS sales have tumbled the last two years. 2015 is looking to be the second year in row the 3DS has had drops of over 30%. Nintendo can't allow that to continue, handhelds have been too important to their success.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
